To me Cage are playing a typical hero, in this movie I think cage are playing an 9w8 (cage are likely a 9, type INFJ , often playing ESTP roles) saving the day. In his movies he mostly play 9w8.

John Cusack .... Vince Larkin This seems to be an E-1, deciding to get his hands diry in the moment of taking his boss car.

John Malkovich --- Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom

The bad guy, seems to be very brilliant, probably an ENTJ and an enneagram type 8.

Garland 'The Marietta Mangler' Greene
This seemimly harmless (hannibal style) serial killer seems to be an E-5. He analyse everything, and make som brilliant remarks.

This sadistic raper (claiming he'd be johnny 800 if he had been caught for everything), seems to be an enneagram type 3. Seemingly disturbed man that have tattoed a rose for every woman he are convicted for.
