+++ Well; I feel exactly the same but in opposite direction; many people who can't identify well with enneagram-descriptions of E4, E5 and E9 can very well identify with the sensitive style. I see the ennea-colors as the paints on the Oldham archetypes.

But this discussion is a bit senseless since there is a continuum of characters and ANY system just take snapshots along this continuum. So for some people an E-type is best and for others an DSM fits better; and you can't say which one is better. Because Oldham uses 12 archetypes and not 9 as the E-gram; there is more chance of a good match. I councel every week about 6 persons and it just works better when you learn Oldham well.

+++ I have difficulty in seeing the Sensitive Style as mainly E4 since E4 abhorror routine; which is the preferent environment for the E9 and typical for the Sensitive Style.
