I just don't like doing this because presumptuousness is so contemptible. Your above post about the "challenge" of guessing with limited information pretty much accurately describes my sentiments on the issue. Yet I might add one thing: in your situation, in which you actually *see* and *speak to* the person in question, you're on much better ground, since there are, after all, certain things a person can't hide, which you can develop the perceptive acuity to discern.
