To experience hardship (or project the image of this), and illness to create guilt in others, being a victim, presenting yourself as having suffered outrageous fortune, self-created suffering that forces others to be caring and nurturing to you; this all fits in with the Self Sacrificing Style (one of the reasons I sometimes don't like Oldhams labels is that they only represent one substyle of the underlying DSM archetype)
