I wrote this while the boards were down. I really need better hobbies. Anyway, this show is sooo awful. It's the show I love to hate. The last banishment round is on Wednesday, leaving the final 3. Then it ends on Friday, where one winner will get $500,000 for being the top house hamster. Apparenly the European Big Brothers have been filled with sex, nudity, and conflict. But for some reason American viewers are voting to banish the most controversial houseguests and we are left watching the most dull, banal people they could find. Anyway, here are my haphazard E-gram guesses:
Jamie: Beauty queen and ex-valedictorian. aka JamieFayeBaker. Never seen without lipgloss or a plastic smile on her face. She has no personality except the fake ones she uses to get the other dim houseguests to like her. Deceptive, very success-oriented 3.
Curtis: affable Asian lawyer. Peace-lovin, nap-takin, bright, like-able but dull.. people have no opinion on him one way or another and that's why I think he'll win. 9.
Eddie: tough one-legged New Yorker. He's the only person being real, honest, and strategic. Immature and vulgar at times, testing, and puts up an 'I am strong' demeanor. 8.
Josh: bland engineering student. He tried to play Brittany and Jordan at the same time with no results except looking like a fool. He has a nervous, halting voice, and kind of softness. Not sure about Sloshie, he seems like a regular dumb jock to me but tries to cultivate an image of being a high IQed shy loner. Maybe phobic Six.
The rest have already been banished:
George: Fred Flintstone-like family man. A very weird dude... high voice, always making costumes and putting on skits, delusional thinking and cult-like figure when he tried to organize a walk-out among the houseguests. He gets hysterical and emotional at times, and other times pretended nothing was wrong. Reminds me of 7 running away from pain.
Cassandra: classy black UN worker. She held her dignity and self-respect throughout her stay. Gave Yoda-like advice to those who came to her. She held back a lot, though, as most of them do. Perfectionist 1.
Brittany: professional who's a club kid at night. She was the most vibrant and emotionally honest in the house. Funny-annoying, extroverted, wanted to be special and the center of attention all the time, made the closest relationships in the house. At first I thought Two, but perhaps another Seven?
Karen: the mother. Her much-touted "kids" are practically grown up. Made her bad marriage a central issue. Handled her banishment nomination very poorly, didn't consider that her loyal bud Jamie had voted for her. Paranoid, insecure 6.
Jordan: the stripper/athlete with a brain. She freely admitted being manipulative, playing with Josh's attention just to get at Brittany. She came off as pretentious a lot. Prolly the only inuitive in the house, along with maybe Mega and Josh. I don't know... most likely another Three.
Will Mega: the former New Black Panther guy and first one banished. Uh, I missed all the episodes he was in.
Feedback from anyone who has seen the show?
