Mike the Cop{who was Lou's "rival" for Hilary Brook} was a satire of a coward who joins the police force/army/ mafia etc to hide his fear.Constantly picking on Lou "I'll run you in" for no good reason, this was the type who bullies the "weak" and faints at the sight of real trouble. Counter phobic 6, but a satire as I don't think anyone would be so obvious and dumb about it. > Sidney Fields played a landlord who had a short fuse especially about the overdue rent. He carried himself as a "strong" boss type, made crude jokes {for the 40's}, had little sympathy for anything or anybody and was capable of putting off revenge and enjoyed making people sweat. I see him as an 8w9.
