Mike used to cut himself in the arm; automutilant behavior. This is the other side of the borderline personality; not the happy chappy extrovert side we are used to see with Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. But of course this is because of the commercial domination of our communications media and this dark side doesn't sell to a wide audience.
