'Frank Drebin is back, just accept it' is a good indicator for the movie protagonist being a Passive Agressive personality caricature. Frank is a master in subtle and not-so-subtle irritations of other people; especially people who seem very self-satisfied. Like; 'You have an interesting party...with many well known face lifts' This mixture of messages is most typical for this style of personality; there is agression but its packed into subtle but absolutely killing sentences. Many passive agressives are very good writers of comedy series; making money out of their talent of making people look ridiculous by their own statements and behaviors. Talking with these passive agressive people is often like taking a look in the 'laughing mirrors' you find on fairs. You won't allways like the feedback you get from them.
