I am an avowed fanatic of the Simpsons. I have watched them every Sunday (and Thursday) since 1990. I will tell you this: The characters have changed over the years. It is really IMPOSSIBLE to give a DEFINITE enneagram type to each character...HOWEVER...there seems to be some dominating enneagram styles.

: Marjorie "Marge" Bouvier 9w1
Agree. Some episodes she is 1w9.

: Homer J. Simpson 6w7
For the most part, yes. He has also displayed, 4, 7, and 9 behavior.

: Abraham J. Simpson ?
8w9

: Mona Simpson 1w2
Agree.

: Charles Mongomery Burns 8
I don't think he can properly be classified by the enneagram. He seems to be a 3-8 mixture, however he is VERY dependent on other people. Smithers for example, but also the "yes-men" in that episode where he loses all his riches and has to regain it by recycling.

: Bartholome J. "Bart" Simpson 8
Initially portrayed as a 7w8, over time is more of a 6w7. He is VERY protective and loyal. Some episodes he is a total 3 show-off who seeks admiration from classmates.

: Lisa Simpson 1
Agree

: Selma Terwilliger McClure Bouvier 2
I think 9w8.

: Pathy Bouvier 8
8w9.

: Waylon Smiters 2
Either that or 6w7. I think 2 is the better choice.

: Principal Skinner 1
Yes, some episodes, Six.

: Sideshow Bob 4
I'm more inclined to think 3w4.

: Troy McClure 3
Yes! The quintessential 3w2.

: Diamond Quimby 3 or 7
7w6. A bit 3ish, but at heart a 7.

: Moe Sislak 3
NO WAY!!! He is 6w5 or 8w9. Very private, protective, and paranoid.

: Lionel Hutz 3
He's not trying to impress anybody like Troy McClure. He is a 7w6.

: Krusty 7
Krusty is an 8w7.

: Lisa : She's devenitly a 1. She always want to be perfect, when the teacher make a burden. She open her "Emergency kit" so she can "feel" scholl, a 5 will never, never do something like that. In the same episode, she ask marge for a note, and said "Im good, good, good"... She's always make a "moral" choise, being obess with perfection.

While I do agree that Lisa is mostly portrayed as a One, it's still stupid to think that a 5 would "never, never" do anything like that. Sorry, but there are ALWAYS exceptions to every rule. Do you really think that ALL FIVES have to adhere to strict rules? Of course not. It's possible that a 5 would do such a thing...even if MOST WOULDN'T...there could still be some that do.

But about the 5 vs 1: Lisa seems to be more motivated to doing the right thing and performing perfectly than simply understanding the world. I'd go with 1w9 for her.
