: I agree with the large majority of your typings. These do seem to be the "home types" to a bunch of characters which have changed drastically over the years.
: : : Marjorie "Marge" Bouvier: 9w1 ISFJ
: : : Homer J. Simpson: 7w6 ESFP Selfish yet optimistic. Fearful and gluttonous. Sensate and illogical.
: Agree. He's also always getting out of house and going on adventures. He also has a wide range of emotions and gets angered easily.
: : : Abraham J. Simpson: 5 or 8 EXXJ
: I think 8w9 ISTJ.
***How could he be an 8? He seems out of touch with himself.
: : : Charles Mongomery Burns: ENTJ 8w7 or 3w4
: Tough to figure out but NTJ is definitely right. He is often delusional about himself [Barney: "Aren't you that guy everybody hates?" Burns: "No! I'm Monty Burns!"]. Many episodes he has opposed the whole town, most notably in the 2-part murder ones.
***3w4. Strong willed attitude from NT and 3 love of competition. Besides no-one becomes the head of a corporation without stepping on others.
: : : Bart Simpson: ESTP 3 or 7
: I think he is a 3 which has a 7 persona. Everytime he does something daring or adventurous, he makes sure everyone else sees. He is cool, self-confident, comes up with plans easily. In the episode where Bart and Lisa have their own news program, Bart is a pure 3 in that episode. He is ambitious, pretentious, and manipulative.
***Ok then I stick with my origional assesment of many years ago. 3. Plus he's his moms special little guy.
: : : Lisa Simpson: ENFJ 1w9
: I agree but I think 1w2. Especially in recent years. Initially she lacked character and would just go along with what Bart did. The first few years she was probably a 6 or a 9. But there are several episodes which her 1 character is clear. In that news program episode, she becomes jealous over the fact that Bart is more successful than her by using manipulation. I think one line spoken by Bart sums up their characters best: [Bart: "With my showmanship and your hardwork and integrity, we can make this show better!"]
***She is more an idealist tending towards disengagement than an involved possesive 2 wing.
: : : Waylon Smiters: ESFJ 2w3
: The strange thing about Mr. Burns, is that despite being so powerful, he is really quite helpless without Smithers.
: : : Principal Skinner: ISTJ 1w9
: For the most part, although he has some attachment issues as well.
***I know a real life 8 guy who was a mommas boy and lived with her until he was 30.
: : : Sideshow Bob: INFP 4w3
: Either 4w3 or 3w4. He's a good mix of both those types. He is dramatic and envious, and yet also calculated and full of himself.
: : : Mayor Quimby: 7
: Based on 7 JFK.
: : : Moe Sislak: 6w5 ESTJ
: 6w5 counterphobic? Could also be an 8w9. Very paranoid, secretive, confrontational. He's really not that loyal though. I think he's more self-serving. He's betrayed Homer more than once...Flaming Moe episode and the episode where Moe gets a girlfriend. I think he's an example of a bad 8w9.
***Could be an 8 at 5. I always though he was a 7w8, however given his reactive nature he is more an 8. He read books to children and cried as a secret hobby. Ok, 8.
: : : Krusty: ESTP 7w8
: : :Police chief wiggim: 9w8 ISFP
: : :Professor frink:5w6 INTP
: : :Flanders: 1w2 ESFJ
: I think Ned is a 9w1. 1w2 would be more likely to put their foot down when taken advantage by others. Homer totally manipulates Ned's Nineness. He borrows stuff and never returns and Ned doesn't do anything about it. And for the ultimate 9w1 episode, see the one where Ned goes to the mental hospital and they learn that over the years he has repressed his anger.
***Possibly.
: : :Flanders wife: 3w2 ESFJ
: No, I think she might be a 1w9. Good little Christian housewife. The one that I think is the 3w2 ESFJ is the ultra-annoying Helen Lovejoy, wife of the Reverend. She is a total gossip queen.
***Thats who I meant, helen LJ is the 3w2.
: : :Milhouse:6w5 INTP
: Milhouse is definitely a phobic 6.
: : :Apu: 3w2 ESFJ
: He is too undefined.
: : :Barney: ESFP 7 or 9
: He's a 9w8. A common theme is where if Barney would just give up his alcohol, he could've been somebody. But his vice is sloth and he tunes out the world by drinking.
: : :Bumble Bee man: ISFP 4w5
: Can't really say.
: : :Dr. Nick Riviera:3w2 ENTP
: Agree.
: : :Lionel Hutz, Lawyer:3w2
: Yes. Phil Hartman's other character, Troy McClure, was a definite 3w2.
: : :Kent Brockman:ENFJ
: A bit hard to say. He seems to be an attention-hog. Also a bit judgemental/critical. I think ENTJ might be better and 3w2.
: : :Wille:8 ISTP
: Totally.
: : :Rev. Lovejoy:1w2 ESTJ
: Agree.
:
: : :Nelson:ESTP 8w7
: The curious thing about Nelson is that in many episodes he is intentionally out of character. He plays the opposite of the bully personality (8w7 ESTP). But, I would say this is his original type.
