4w8?

That's interesting - I'm a definite 4 who is often described in 8ish terms by friends - trying to assert self, always having last word, living to extremes, never backing down/always sticking ground. I'm definitely intimate subtype which is very competitive. Like yourself, I've been involved in martial arts for a few years. People occasionally try to intimidate me because of my small size, but they never get anywhere.

: I don't remember making such a comment on riso's board. I know a couple mobths ago, someone referred to 4s as whimps, and I had to clarify that that's only unhealthy 4s.
Don't you love the way the enneagram opens up the ability of people to make sweeping generalisations?
