Tolkien seems to be a ‘thinker’ (rationalist); his fictional worlds don’t offer such things like romantic love or sensitive, lovely, understanding (‘feeling’ in mbti) women.

Gandolf seems to have the noncomformity, mutual independence, persuasiveness, and no ergrets of the Adventurous Style. Gandalf's Ennea Type seems to be:9w8/INFJ.To me, he seems to be a little too steelly to be a plain 9w1....
