: My research shows that Idiosync and Leisurely are very related styles; both want to put a stamp on their work. In a recent study students of Art Faculties and students of Social Sciences were compared; the characters of the Art Schools were much more Idiosyncratic in traits, but not more creative; they just had a more strong need to put their stamp on things.
: I guess the Dutch painter Van Gogh was Idiosyncratic Style?

Hello Jan:
This is why I always read your posts with interest and very carefully! Just reading Oldham would never tell you that! Yes, both are very interested in freedom, and really depend on it. But the Idosyncratic is creative and knowledge seeking, aware of wide possiblities etc.. The Leisurely is a pleasure seeking Style.Oldham says in the Indosyncratic good and bad matches, that the Leisurely is a possiblity....Your research is telling us something probably not even implied in Oldham! Thanks for that!
