Consider his behavior in the last episode. There's this guy who is his enemy. To ruin him, Lex arranges for the guy's fiancee to catch him cheating on her. When she shoots him, which I guess Lex didn't expect, he protects her by pretending that he shot the guy and then doing a cover-up. Lex plays with power. He collects power, he knows how to handle it, and he does things very strategically. He also likes to know a lot about his friends and enemies, just in case the information will prove useful to him. For example, he has been investigating the incident in which Clark saved his life, trying to figure out just what Clark may be keeping from him. Also, I am concerned about how you treat Naranjo's Enneagram types and Riso's Enneagram types as though they are separate personality systems. The Enneagram is the Enneagram, and Naranjo and Riso are both teachers of it. If someone somehow seems to be a different types in Naranjo and Riso, it reflects an inadequacy in how one of them teaches the Enneagram. Overall, I'm inclined to think that Lex is an 8, not a 7.
