: Don Giovanni (aka Casanova)
: The libretto for the opera Don Giovanni, written by Da Ponta, was based on his friendship with Casanova. Don Giovanni is a role player, his charm is so strong – he makes the women feel important – that often it works to get them into having sex with him. And when they resist; he rapes them. Like Bill Clinton; he wants to have sex with all women; rich or poor doesn’t matter (Lewinski wasn’t that beautiful!); just for a one-night stand. But he tells them he wants to marry them; his promises are superficial and after sex he seems to think ‘how to get rid of this woman’. Don Giovanni’s egocentric and agressive behavior is not perceived by him as such; he says; ‘He who is loyal to one woman, does harm other woman…I who have an unmeasurable feeling (of love), loves them all…but the (stupid) woman who can’t understand this call my good nature deception….’. This self-kicker seems not aware that he’s destroying relationships, humiliating women, and rapes women. The men of the woman are only obstacles in his way (right) of satisfying his sexual need. That’s why sleek narcissists get so angry when attacked; the balloon of self-love then is pierced; the defense mechanism fails and: thats painful……

Hello Jan:
Not only is Don Giovanni a narcissist, but wouldn't he be close to the ant-social, or sadistic disorder? Raping women is much worse than just fooling them to have sex! And fooling them just to have sex,is it self pretty sick ( espically an era, where untreatable sexually transmitted diseases were rampant; and no means to stop conception! ) He seems to a very seriously disordered person with no remorse, conscience, or regard for others welfare or feelings!
