Hello Jan:
Your message say that 4 different styles can have voguish elements raises some very disturbing problems. As you are well aware, the pop Enneagram claims that it is all about motivation! In my case I have 3 of the 4 voguish styles.... ( Serious, Sensitive, elements of Vigilant; Idiosyncratic-no )In a situation with 3 possible motivations, its hard to eeven guess the right one.... This also suggests that the various styles can make a trait stronger, since it is more widely spread and used. It also makes the question of the order of one's styles, strongest to weakest, that much harder to figure out!

The other problem is the interconnection one you had mentioned when you wanted to build a model of Millon for your workshops..... Even with 5 styles, its almost impossible to show a 2d diagram with arrows! I am thinking of making a chart showing each style ( with Millon subtyle ), and just listing the connections to all other of my styles .... Rich
