: : But if you do that every time, hasn't it become obvious by now, that you can't run away from the pain? If you keep getting hurt, it's because there is some pain in you already that's making you very vulnerable. So wherever you run to you will just find more pain. You have to deal with the inner pain, and then you will be less vulnerable, and not have to actually leave town each time someone hurts you, you'll be more resilient. After all what sort of a life is that, being on the run all the time. It must reinforce any feelings of low self-esteem doing that!

: Exactly. I spent far too much of my life trying to run away. I thought I was running towards something, but I was really just running away. And I found that every time, the things I was running from followed me; the pain always came back because I hadn't worked through it.

: It is harsh, but maybe this pain is trying to tell you something. What I find is that pain point to something that I'm not seeing accurately, something I'm seeing through fear and not through Love. For me, it has always been a matter of perspective, and the more I search and open, the broader and better my perspective gets. Maybe we can see pain not as a rejection to fear and run from, but as an invitation to grow and and opportunity find Love.

Wow, this all sounds great, but what actually happened was I got 'snagged' out of an income opportunity, which ended up turning in a new direction, minor set-back, but it's ok in the long run, because I ended up getting another opportunity somewhere else that I otherwise would not have gotten had this not happended after all. So it all ended up good after all.
I think the key is to not let things 'get' to you so quick, but to keep your chin up, and realize there's always more opportunities just laying out there waiting for you.
Thanks for all your support folks. It feels good knowing people care enopugh to reach out. Thanks. Take care,
Margaret
