When I was kid, I THOUGHT as if I were character in a book. I actually thought of myself in the third person! Like once when I was about 8, I was walking down the school's hallway by myself, and I remember actually thinking: "she walks slowly down the empty hallway, only stepping on the green polished tiles, not the brown, and listening to the echo of her own footsteps". Or something like that. I used to think up titles for my autobiography while standing in lines. I didn't realize how strange doing this was until I was about 11. I still do, sometimes, think of my life as a movie rather than, you know, life. I'll see myself from the outside. And I wonder why experiences don't feel "real" to me.
