It's obvious to me from your recent out of character posts that something has upset you.
I'm sorry if I've upset you, but it was not intended.
It seems to me that maybe you've just spent too much time on your own, and that's why you feel confused about how to be, when you're with other people.
You've never sounded 'formal and rigid' on here, but I don't know if you do in RL. You sound too impassioned a person to be like that.
I need to think about this, and it's now 5.10am here in England and I haven't been to sleep yet, so obviously it's hard at the moment to come up with anything constructive to say.
I will email you tomorrow, (I was going to anyway). I had a bad day today, got very humiliated at work and cried all evening from 6.10 onwards. So I'm not at my best for thinking.
But rest assured, Julian, you are one of the gang.
BTW alcohol helped ME to loosen up socially (long term), but I don't suppose you drink at all.
