Yes, it makes a lot of sense. It gives a good confirmation of motivation.
I can relate quite a bit to that.

It puts a new spin on what "sinful" means. Sort of like a sin of sloth (for
not waking up from the unconsciousness) than being evil.

It is hard. The only way to do it, that i have found, is to get involved
in something outside. The more I try to "think" my way out of self-awareness
the more it becomes a trap.
