Maybe spirit is something that can never be understood by certain people, and I am one of them. When i experience negative things, such as loneliness i pretty much just ignore it, or try to. I say "so what? Big deal if i am lonely, it isn't important." Then i try to do something to get my mind off of it. I sai somewhere else on this board that to me emotions are only as important as we let them be. I realise many people do not work this way. Whatever works for an individual i suppose it the correct way. I unlike you beleive that I, me, myself consist of my thoughts and that the rest of my body is here to support my brain (mind) NOT that my brain's job is to keep my body going.
I hope your hypnosis goes well, and that you find sucess in dealing with your "flaws".
