You seem to be a very kind and extremely considerate person, i think people of this sort often get hurt by others. I think it's good that you are dealing with this using a level head, rather than get angry and start unsulting and calling names. (resorting to hypocracy)

: And the second point: Yes, I am pretty much a pushover and somewhat spineless when it comes to standing up for myself; but I honestly have no way of determining when I have offended someone or not, so if I perceive I've done so, best to cover all my bases and apologize. If someone wants to post something to me and JOKINGLY indicate they've been insulted, they know what to do--smiley faces, "Just kidding," an obviously sarcastic tone (you know--one even *I* could recognize), etc. If they don't do so, I have no way of knowing I haven't really insulted them, so they should expect an apology. They shouldn't be too irritated if I give them one unexpectedly, as I did my best to interpret all the signs and came to the conclusion that an apology should be forthcoming.

: Anyway, I do hope that I can post around here without giving the impression of stepping all over people's toes, just as long as they don't step on mine! <:) (It's *kind of* like taking a stand.)
