There is a theory (sorry I can't remember who has done it, but you can find their names
on the "Enneagram Monthly" on-line page) called the Enneagram of the Body
which is based on centers of energy in the body. This theory links 4-8-2
very closely, and when I read their theory, it really made sense to me.
I'd encourage you to look for it - it's fascinating. Their descriptions
of 8 & 4 are also quite positive (to me, these and 3 are the spaces that
seem to get the most flack).
