i know that i have put this message on the care board, but i didn't know which
board it was appropriate for. i have been trying to some find stuff on baptist mystics,
but i have been only successful infinding stuff on mysticism in every other religion. i was
wondering is it acceptable to experience mysticism in the Baptist religion or is it on a much
higher level, like acceptable in Christians, like it is accepted in other places which serve gods
other than God? if i was to try and find out about the mysticism i have experienced, many people in my
church would not understand where i am coming from, so i now feel more than less, that this is a personal,
spiritual journey with God. i don't really know about it connecting so well to the Baptist religion, but
would rather describe myself as a christian than to be labelel as a religion, because most are corrupt, anyway.
but, i am thinking about staying in the Baptist religion and accepting its flaws, but enhancing my spirit as being
connecting with being a Christian and a Mystic. Plus, most Roman Catholic mystics connect their religion with their
mysticism and achieve a higher level of thinking and communicating with God. So, probably I'll look into that as well.
Oh yeah, and i also wanted to know anybody's opinion on this.
