You were the moderator of this board. Then you got the idea of going on a vacation AND decided it was ok if you just tell someone to take care of the job, not asking anyone about it. Giving away passwords, not explaining what to do with them and where.
So, now you're saying that the person on whom you forced the job actually was the moderator, but "abdicated" 10 minutes later. The truth was that Emily didn't want the job back them, but you gave her little choice. For your info, people rarely respect those who slide away from their responsibilities and force others to cover up for them.
I think it's almost surrealist what you did. People here are so incredibly sensitive about what their moderator does. "He should/should not be the moderator", "we need to decide who'll be our moderator", "what the moderator is allowed to do..." etc. Then you, as the moderator don't give a damn and in fact just assume someone can do the job for awhile. Now I'm wondering why people didn't react to that much, maybe it was because Becca, Emily and I figured out the solution so quickly. I wonder what the reaction would be if I said I'm going on a vacation and make...hmmm...Diarmuid the acting moderator? (I'm NOT going to do that, just food for thought)
And when you came back and were out of the job permanently, you posted something like "has resigned from his post due to pressure from..." That's the most euphemistic way of saying "I was fired" or "I got the sack." You didn't resign, you were kicked out because of your own actions.
Finally, I'd like to advise you to stop using all those pseudonyms. I won't, however, since you obviously ain't got the balls to post all your opinions using your own name. Expecting that from you would be unreasonable.
