I have been wondering the exact same thing! Unfortunately, I don't have the answer either. I'm wondering if there are any more scientific Enneagram studies out there. I have posed this question to the Enneagram Institute in Palo Alto and am hoping for an email back. I am a Four and think I am an INFP also. I would think that since there seems to be a high correspondance between the 2 systems, it is likely that Fours are quite rare. THis is not scientific, but I can say that from my own personal experience I have only known one other Four in my life, and she is my therapist who is helping me deal with the dark side of Four! I'm very glad to find Fours here to chat with . . .
