It actually upsets me sometimes, a bit! : It starts to feel like all these people are talking just with their heads - their heart is missing. I have to say that if I was in a room with a load of fives, I would probably go insane very soon...I just can't stand the lack of warmth, or perhaps it's just my perception. : Either way, some of the posts irritate me to no end. And yet, I don't have the right to criticize others. I only with the flavour of the board was more than just 'five' dominated! : ;-) Who says you have no right to criticize? Criticize away! It bugs me too sometimes, and yes, often their heart is missing. I've come to look at this in two different ways: First, my family is somewhat like this in the sense that their hearts are also "missing". They relate to each other in ways that appear cold and distant, but from their point of view, it's the only way they know how to show affection. It's sad that they can't be more open and understanding, but I've come to appreciate that one some level, they do care. Second, many people there are stuck in their heads, but we are often stuck in our hearts. I used to be stuck in my head too, so I know what it's like, and I believe I see more than most of them. But at the same time, they're free of many of my fixations, so they really do have something to offer with their different perspective. With that said, I also skip over the seemingly endless analysis and "logical" arguing that some of the 5's engage in. I personally don't think it leads anywhere, and I've said this a few times on the main board. But it may be that the 5's need to go through this to realize for themselves that it doesn't go anywhere. When they see this, they'll stop on their own. And then a new crop of 5's will come in to pick up where they left off. :-) - Hal -
