: Hey, just as an aside, do you find as a four, that you are more picky about the people you like/ or choose to associate with in your life? I find that although I am quite an easy going friendly person on the outside, I really am quite discriminating when it comes to people. I can get really irritated by some people. I'm not saying this is necessarily a good thing. It's just the way it is....
: Thoughts...?
Hi Summer :)
In my line of work, I interact with lots of people all the time - and being an extrovert, I have no problem with this. But when it comes to those I call friends - I am VERY discriminating. As I have matured, I have redefined what I consider to be friendship - and it looks very different to the way it did in my younger years. The people I CHOOSE to spend my time with nowadays are people who share a real connection with me and I with them - people whom I can trust and who trust me - people with whom I can achieve a level of intimacy - people who aren't afraid of the truth - people who are growing - people who know about love....so yes, I am very discriminating.
Needless to say, I have a small circle of intimate friends. I have a great many aquaintances - but a precious few whom I consider to be my friends.
By the way, the big board gives me the shits on occassion too - but sometimes (just sometimes!) I learn as much from the drivel as I do from the discussions that really interest me....
