A Four's search for authentic moments of connection mimics an ongoing awareness of essence. The search is motivated by the conviction that there is more than ordinary life. We would not be seeking if we were complete."
Maybe this is what is meant by the suggested idolization of authenticity by Fours. That they place being authentic above connection with Essence. They are seeking, but only expressing that search, not finding.
