: Hiya people,

: It's been a while since i had a post here..
: But i was reading !

: Anyways, i got a question to every 4 on the planet..

: I wonder , if you have a hidden need to "lead people" ?

: Although not being the leader type (i am an fierce indiviualist [i dont
: follow anyways] ) i occasionally have that ,well , urge to lead others
: and i kinda become an "enforcer".. ( this is the right word i think)
:
: is it a trait seen in 4s ? or maybe it comes from some other thing?

: thanks in advance..

: PS: great to hear you divorced Amanda, i think marriage is one of the
: stupiest things in this world..

: PS2 : i am 18 years , 4w5(my only choice at the time) , ENFP ;p

Hi again Mustafa :)

I, too, am a 'leader' - maybe it's because that in my job I am usually responsible for getting the whole project together - but I think it has more to do with being extroverted. You and I are both enfp's - so I can see where you are coming from. We enfp's are good at coming up with ideas and motivating others to become enthusiastic about something - but we often fall down when it comes to seeing a project through to it's completion....J's are usually much better at this than P's. The challenge for me - both as a P and as a 4 has been to discipline myself to stick it out to get to completion. I've consciously developed this over the years, and while it still doesn't come naturally - I am very good at it now and it is less of an effort.

As for being a '4' thing - I'm not sure, but I don't think so. Most of the other 4's I know are more likely to hang back for fear of making a fool of themselves or (maybe) of being showed up as being somehow defective. I've always 'taken the bull by the horns' - but I think this is more unusual for a 4 than anything else. I'm sure others here can offer a better explanation than I can....

Amanda
