: : Hello fellow 4's!!

: : After much reading, soul searching, agonizing, and pestering my poor wife to death I've come to the conclusion that I am a 4. I don't know whether this is a good or a bad thing but have just accepted that it *is*. The thing most amazing to me about this whole process I've just gone through was that it mattered to me as much as it did. Geez, if I couldn't ever make a decision on E-type I'd still be every bit the human that I am so what's the big deal? But, it was a big deal so go figure. :)

: : The things that most swayed my decision had to do with how I am SOOO attracted to the unavailable and how I've always been envious of other's relationships just knowing that I was missing *something* in my own. To a great extent I've been able to better deal with these emotions as I've grown older but I'm fully aware that they're still with me.

: : I've found that I have a very strong 5 wing so I guess I had best start working on building up the 3 side of my personality. This is a project that calls for a great deal of initial procrastination so the next millenium will see a much more success oriented Ev. Watch out world, here I come! :)

: : Ev

:
: You go, Ev! The World will be holding it's breath waiting for you to step forward! ;-)
: Joke to side, glad to hear you have found out what e-type you are. I was relived when I found out mine, after
: being mistyped as a Seven at first. (Yes, I can seem like an extroverted introvert...)
: I am not surprised that it was a big deal for you to find your e-type - show me a Four that would be content not knowing his/her type! (After all, we are on
: a constant search for ourselves..., more than any other type, according to most authors anyway)
: I have a dominant 5 wing, too. I am working on the 3 wing, that is; I am trying to figure out HOW to work on my
: 3 wing! Wanna hold hands while trying to build up our suppressed wings? (er...would that be the Two in me talking?)
: The journey has just begun - have a safe but adventurous trip!

: Elk

Hello Ev and Elk

Welcome back to the fold, Ev!

Mind you - I never doubted for a minute that you were a 4 - even our 5 brothers and sisters (including those with 4 wings) don't relate quite so well to 4's as a 4 would....and you relate VERY well indeed. Still, I do understand what it's like to feel driven to discover type. I agree with Elk on this. Like Elk, I am mostly mistyped as a 7 - simply because I'm so outgoing. I think for most of my life I've had a stronger 3 wing than 5 wing. It's only been in the last 5 years that I've really come to see the 5 in me....so if you want to know about the 3 stuff (it's not all it's cracked up to be, by the way) - just ask away. I'm in a particularly magnanimous mood anyway and I just can't wait to start dropping my little pearls of wisdom all over the place *g*....ok, so I'm kidding....but I am happy to answer any questions you care to pose. I can't promise to answer them well, mind you, but I will answer....

To the hunt....!!

smiles
Amanda :)
