Hi Elk :)

: OK, I have a question; where do I start? ;-)

Fair enough question.

It all depends on where you're coming from - and where you need to go....and we don't want to start 're-inventing the wheel' if we can possibly help it.

I presume you want to know where to start with understanding a 3 wing and it's wiley ways, am I right?

But do you want to know abouts it's influence on your own history or maybe how you can draw from it for future reference? Do you want to discuss how having access to the 3 has helped 'mask' the 4w5? How it enabled you to function more effectively in your world? How it kept the 'real' you from being recognised by others - even by yourself?

The enneagram is a very 360 degree kind of thing, as far as I can ascertain. There are paths leading of in every direction, limited only by the degree of one's curiosity and imagination.

Pick a path and we'll collectively see where it takes us.
Who knows what answers we'll unearth....?

( Please note that readers of 'The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy' are, without a doubt, fully aware that the *Answer* is, in fact, 42 - but are, unfortunately, still wrestling with the question.
Disclaimer:
For those unaquainted with the 'Guide, please disregard the previous statement and disavow all knowledge of said *Answer* in the interests of public health and sanity. Designate all unwanted information a 'S.E.P' zone, or more precisely: a 'Someone Else's Problem' designation, if you will. Just call it a 'SEP' and move on....much like driving along and noticing someone's front lawn could use a mow....but it's not your problem - so you don't give it a second thought. It's Someone Else's Problem, and you don't give a pair of fetid dingoes kidneys whether it gets mowed or not. Anyway, I digress. Just trust me on this one, it'll work like a charm - I promise! :)

Questions anyone?
Comments?

: : Hello Ev and Elk

: : Welcome back to the fold, Ev!

: : Mind you - I never doubted for a minute that you were a 4 - even our 5 brothers and sisters (including those with 4 wings) don't relate quite so well to 4's as a 4 would....and you relate VERY well indeed. Still, I do understand what it's like to feel driven to discover type. I agree with Elk on this. Like Elk, I am mostly mistyped as a 7 - simply because I'm so outgoing. I think for most of my life I've had a stronger 3 wing than 5 wing. It's only been in the last 5 years that I've really come to see the 5 in me....so if you want to know about the 3 stuff (it's not all it's cracked up to be, by the way) - just ask away. I'm in a particularly magnanimous mood anyway and I just can't wait to start dropping my little pearls of wisdom all over the place *g*....ok, so I'm kidding....but I am happy to answer any questions you care to pose. I can't promise to answer them well, mind you, but I will answer....

: : To the hunt....!!
