If I weren't in a romantic relationship myself right now, living my dream with my guy, cherishing our romantic moments... well, my reaction to Emily's post would probably have been of envy and cynicism too... I mean, I DO remember being alone, and not being able to stand seeing or hearing about my friends finding love... BUT that is completely self-defeating and unnecessary. But it's easy to do. Seeing other people's happiness just magnifies what we don't have...
As a 4, envy happens easily... Emily right now has something that most people only dream about...!
On one hand it's normal to be cynical about it all... But on the other hand... just let her be happy!!! And be happy for her...
