A big thing about relating via internet is that lots of plans can be made, we can fantasize... but then things might not actually happen... It doesn't mean one doesn't want it to happen, but maybe insecurities and fear take over...! And sometimes simply the planning and fantasizing is fun... And keeping the mystery.
A lot of us are weary of actual face to face meetings... well, I am anyway. And it's not because I don't want to meet the others, but because I am afraid of them meeting me! It's a big difference...
I wasn't around when you all spoke about getting together... But I am sure the enthusiamsm wasn't false!!
It's simply hard to get so many people from so many places to meet all at one time at one place. And that is leaving the money issue aside! I simply wouldn't be able to afford a trip anywere... :( no matter how much I'd love to go.
