Enneagram Type 4 Board Archive Descriptions of posters on main boardPosted by Ev on July 25, 1999 at 19:19:58: Hello all, Just before I went away last week there was a post on the main board asking that the regulars better identify themselves for the benefit of those new to the board. I thought this sounded kind of fun so I responded thinking I would be one of very few to do so. WOW, was I ever surprised by the volume of response Perciever got with that one! I was also blown away by how forthcoming everyone was with personal information. I must admit that I fudged a little when giving my information because I never once mentioned my uncanny resemblance to a young Robert Redford. Actually, this resemblance ends with the fact that we both have two eyes, but hey, that's something, isn't it? :) Amanda mentioned in her post that she was shocked by the descriptions people gave because they were in conflict with how she has envisioned them to be. The same is also true with me. Everyone was sooo much more exotic looking before that post. Alas, if only we could roll back time I'd still be dead on in the visualization department! :) One of the things I wish people would have gotten into more was their educational background and occupations. I have told my wife on several occasions that I believe at least half of you to be double or triple PHD holders. I mean, I'm having to stay up late at night reading just to keep up! :) I bought a new dictionary because the one I had didn't define many of the words used on the board. Hell, the new dictionary can't keep up with Derf! Haye Caramba!! So, Derf, etal., come clean if you will. Ev PS; High scool graduate ( It may not sound like much, but my mother spent many a sleepless night thinking I wouldn't make it.)
