Thank you, both, for the warm welcome home. We really do have a community here, and this is one of my homes. It's a big change from a year ago when I felt as though I had no home.

My grandmother's funeral and seeing my family again went very well. It was a bit...interesting, but it was a good experience and I'm very glad I went. This was actually the first funeral I ever went to, and I found great value in saying goodbye to my grandmother, and being with my family for it, even though most of them are very emotinally closed off.

My vacation last week was great--far too much to write about in one post here, but it's made some things in my life a bit clearer--not easy, but clearer. I took a self-empowerment workshop there, among other things, and made connections with many wonderful people. As with just about everything in our lives, it was just what I needed at this time.

And Elk, no need to feel guilty about not continuing the discussion. Whenever you're ready, I'll be here.
