I worked many low end jobs in my early 20's. They can be fun and they
can suck. They arn't to be taken too seriously. I blew a few off and
screwed around on another.
The thing is...if you get in the habit of blowing things off like that
it may become a bad pattern you repeat in a job that matters.
The point is its bad to burn bridges. On the other hand if you have
an overwhelming feeling and nothing is holding you back then maybe its
good to act on the feeling.
Ok you should have taken the next shifts off saying you were sick and then given two weeks notice.
