I am pretty much as I am in my posts, with the difference that I let out all my poetic yearnings on this board. Which actually makes a lot of sense, now that I think about it. : On this board, I let some of my crazies out, and I can only laugh silently when I see others, like Cecil, doing the very same thing. : If anything, Cecil merely has a problem expressing her opinions for fear of rejection and appearing "a stupid jerk." As per my previous responses in this thread, she probably NEVER does it in real life, and can do it only temporarily, and with a self-imposed backlash, on these internet boards. She needs to find comfort in expressing herself, and contentment in the fact that others may respond as they will, or think of her as they will. I agree with you that Cecil is 'letting out her crazies', and that we should support her wholeheartedly. I do also think, however, that her mood swings are more than the average fourish pendulum. I am as convinced as I can be, without meeting her in the flesh, that she does not have enough people who love her in her life. As Amanda said, there are people in her life who 'love her back to sanity' (great way to put it, by the way - very touching). I think Cecil needs someone to love her back to sanity, sans pity, condescending/condemning, etc. She's got a great mind and obviously wants to do the right thing, whatever that is. I hope she didn't take my latest post the wrong way. Hmm. I'll post on the main board to her.
