Hey Peggy,
Why do people get angry? Do they feel threatened, or hurt? Maybe something else? You can't know without asking him. Give him honesty, and if he cannot deal with it, it's his problem. Don't let it be yours. You must be honest with yourself. Don't take on something that is his responsibility.
