Yeah, I sometimes get the "seasonal depression" too. I do like the ideals of holidays, and the kind spirit
that they are meant to represent and engender; but the holidays are usually depressing for single people
especially those who live away from home. I'm grateful to those friends I have that remember me during the
holidays, but I live on the opposite coast from my Mom and sister, and many others friends just assume I have
a nice cozy functional nuclear family unit to go back to at anytime. Yeah, the lack of consideration does get
to me sometimes. My uncle who I'm currently visiting often organizes a "charlie-in-the-box" party at
Christmas time. Anyway, I think I understand. Do you get pangs in your gut when you see Christmas lights?
