Actually, at age 19, your personality should most definately NOT be set in stone. I was reading in "Chicken Soup for the College Soul" that people's personalities TEND to develop by far the most during ages 1-5 and during college years ie. when you first move away from home (whether or not you DO go to college) This makes sense because as teenagers, your biggest worries are popularity, homework, girls/boys, etc. and usually have nothing much to do with responsibility...you don't really have to think about much and then KABAMO!!!! you graduate from high school and there are a kabillion possibilities and it's like "Now figure out what you want to do with your life" and you're like "what the fuck" so you spend the next set of years discovering yourself, figuring out what you like, what you wanna do, where you would like to go, etc...so in other words to have completely discovered yourself at age 19 (my age) would be crazy, you would be one lucky bastard...some people grow up early, maybe going through teen pregnancy/moving out of the house at an early age and maturing extra fast, other people don't really know what the hell's going on at 40...so ya my point though is that it's highly normal to not know yourself and to be mighty confused about things at 19.
