: Your great-uncle passes away childless at age 85. You thought you had a good relationship with he and his wife. He was a quiet, somber gentleman. You visited he and his wife about five times a year. When he was terminally ill, you had stayed up with him two nights in the hospital so your aunt could rest. You were asked to be a pallbearer. Your cousin, a trustworthy person, was the executor of your uncle's will. After reading it, he notifies you that each of your 18 cousins has been granted $32,000. Surprisingly, you and your two siblings were omitted. Your widowed mother, your siblings, and the executor are clueless as to why. Embarrassingly enough, I'd be righteously pissed. My thoughts would be something on the order of; How dare he give money to everyone else and leave me out! Isn't that just my friggin' luck? I wonder if there's anything I can do legally to get a chunk of that cash? I would have these thoughts even though I believe that nobody *deserves* to inherit anything from anybody. I guess it would be the being left out part that would have bothered me most. Ev
