: For those of you who don't know, lucid dreaming is where you *know* you are dreaming. Through practice, lucid dreaming can be a very effective way of exploring your imagination and acting on your dreams rather than mindlessly following them.

: I have only ever had this experience once or twice, and it was a very incredible experience. I don't exacly know how it came about, but i just *knew* i was dreaming, so i jumped off the nearest cliff :) I wanted to experience free-fall without worrying about my own death, and i did experience this very well... 3 or 4 times :)

: I believe lucid dreaming could be a wonderful aid to a Four's frustrated dreamy imagination. The possiblities are endless, you could explore the fantastic dream world inside your mind, or act fearlessly towards things you fear. Have you ever gone to sleep wishing you could dream about a certain thing, but ending up dreaming about something ridiculous or not dreaming at all? I know i have.

: The problem is, when you realise that you are in fact dreaming, there is usually an incredible rush of energy and you wake up. Lately, i've been able to dream every night (remember them that is), but it's probably a coincidence. I still haven't been able to have a lucid dreaming experience for a long time, but when i do i can't wait :)

: So my question to you is, have you ever had a lucid dreaming experience? And for those of you who know more about dreams, have you found a good technique to encourage lucid dreams? I know of one method: Ask yourself many times a day, 'am i dreaming?'

: Excalibur - Don't get lost in your dreams, create them yourself :)
