Yep, the shadow does sound very Vaderish. Good point, Diarmuid! As I understand it from Jungian archetypal work (no, I'm not a therapist), the "shadow" is the unintegerated, negative aspect of a personality structure. For instance, you can have a healthy manifested "Fool" archetype (I AM a Fool), and a shadow nasty Fool aspect as well. It's supposed to be easy in archetypal terms to project one's one shadoq onto someone else, thereby abdicating personal responsability for one's own shit. Oh yeah, me? Of course, I've never done that :) Hey, thanks for your answer to my post yesterday.
