It would provide him with ammunition. Would you say 13 years is too long. Jonathan (5) is a very slow mover, but does change and reckons he's growing up since his father died, (classic scenario). I tried to give him the boot recently, because neither of us can find an answer, but neither of us could cope with it as we're such total soul-mates. I think you're almost right too, but the alternatives are too bleak, i.e. when I look for someone else I end up getting into problems and I think now I just don't want anyone else. I'm not too sure of the truth about the 4 push/pull scenario; when I've got something I never go off it - my tastes remain constant and only expand. Me and the unequal other give each other so much mental/intellectual stimulation that I can't see me looking elsewhere. Keep 'em coming,
