: Yes, not all people include the original message, because it can always be read elsewhere in the thread and sometimes clutters up things really bad. Besides, if you only type a couple lines at the bottom of a 50-line message, at least I find it annoying to go through something I've already read elsewhere.

But this time I thought it'd be a good idea to leave the original message intact. Note that any followup to a blue-squared message will always be below that message and stepped to the right. (or the left, if the thread is really long and hits the right edge of the page--I don't intend to write that many messages now... :)
