Same here. I have many friends I've known since I was eight, and the close ones I've made throughout my life I make a great effort to stay in touch with. I used to not be able to make acquaintance-type friendships at all, it was intense bond or nothing...but moving around the country has taught me to be a little less choosy when it comes to being lonely or bored.
I used to have that push-pull problem with men when I was in highschool, but got over it.
