I know how you feel. I'm like the envious serpent, which is one of the reasons why I analyze myself to death. It is my envious self that would not let me have peace. How do Cinderella's stepsisters' or Snow White's wicked stepmother-the evil queen deal with envy, I wonder? I mean how do they deal with it after happy-ever-after for the other characters, and after the story book is closed and the child has gone to sleep? Do they just rot in their own bitterness? Or are they worth something too, deep down inside, maybe?
