So I'm looking for suggestions from my fellow Fours on some good reads. I'm interested mainly in novels, memoirs/autobiographies, and journals. I'd also like to read more poetry, so I'm looking for good suggestions in that category, too. : I will list a few "Four" books (in my opinion) that I've really enjoyed: : Mrs. Stevens Hears the Mermaids Singing, May Sarton Oh yes!!! I would heartily endorse Rilke to any 4s- I found it almost TOO intense, when I first read him-I had to keep stopping- all the shivers it was giving me,- and I read a LOT.There's also a beautiful Australian book called "Monkey Grip", by Helen Garner, told from the point of view of a woman who's in love with a Heroin Addict.(and no, it doesn't glamourise heroin, thank god)
