Summer;
Don't give up. You're still an excellent person. You have value, you're worthwhile. You do good things. You're liked, cared about and needed (I can say with me definitelym, and I think with most others on the board as well).

I like what you have to say. You gave me criticism in the right way. You said what you needed to say, which was hard for me to take, but not so harsh as to make me move against you and attack you.

You have a good way of 'gentle, but firm' confrontation. This ia an asset.

So lead with your strength. And remember look at employment (although hard to do) as a two way street, what about comparing them with others?

If they cast you out so frivilousy, then you really want to work with others who can't see a goldmine when it's sitting right in front of their ugly-*ss face?

NO!

So move on and find someone who has their head screwed on straight!

Make them work for you too. Play them off each other too.
Tell them they are in consideration with others.

Don't let them know how you feel about your other options though.
And make sure you really have them. Don't lie, or when they turn you down, now what?

Show them your enthusiasm, however, even if you'd love to have them, you really should not let them know how desperate you are. It could work against you.

Then again, if you're TOO not desperate enough, they will think you lack ambition. It's a hard call, but just try to balance the two somehow (which, I am STILL not good at).

I don't know if this helps. Hopefully it does a little.

Just remember you always have options in the world. You're never stuck.
You can go anywhere and do anything. Keeping an eye out for alternative is what gives you leverage in life, it's what keeps you able to move on in life and not get your heart stuck on one choice.

Cecil
